The moment I learned that Lady Gaga’s only Southeast Asia stop would be a four-day performance in Singapore, I knew I couldn’t miss it.. No hesitation. Singapore’s really stepping up as a hotspot for exclusive performances from big-name artists, and I’ve got to say—they’re doing a great job. This concert was part of the promo for her new album Mayhem, and I wasn’t going to miss it. I’ve always wanted to see Gaga live, and she completely blew me away. Totally worth the flight!
I flew to Singapore a day before the concert, which gave me some extra time to explore the city once again. More details in this link
Concert Notes:
I really love how convenient the venue’s location was. It was just few minutes walk from my accommodation, so even with the large crowds afterward, I didn’t have to worry about catching a cab or squeezing into a packed train. The nearby Stadium MRT station also made getting around super easy—attending a concert in Singapore really is hassle-free.
There were plenty of food stalls scattered around the venue, but the lines were already massive when I arrived, so I decided to skip them. One pleasant surprise was that mobile signal remained strong throughout the entire show—no issues staying connected. Security checks were quick and efficient, and since I didn’t bring a bag, I was able to breeze through without any delays. Small choices like that made the whole experience smoother and more enjoyable.
May 21, 2025 (Wednesday)
I was over the moon to see Lady Gaga live on the third night of her concert, and the excitement was palpable—not just from me, but from all the Little Monsters (Lady Gaga’s devoted fans) around me. They went all out, dressing up in iconic outfits inspired by Gaga’s music videos, creating a stunning and vibrant visual spectacle that added an extra layer of magic to the evening.
The moment the show kicked off with Bloody Mary and Abracadabra, the entire crowd was in pure frenzy. Lady Gaga’s stage presence was a league of her own. The theatrical production was jaw-dropping, perfectly crafted to immerse the audience in each moment. The concert was divided into four acts, and in every segment, Gaga dazzled us by singing, dancing, acting, and playing multiple instruments—guitar, drums, and piano. The range of her performance was breathtaking.
Her versatility was astounding. She performed heartfelt ballads, engaged warmly with the crowd, and even made her way into the audience during Vanish Into You to sign autographs and check on her fans personally.
Lady Gaga commands the stage like no other, she gave everything on that stage and then some. Being there in person, witnessing her artistry and dedication firsthand, was a privilege I will always cherish. Even if you’re not a hardcore fan, this concert is an absolute must-see. She’s a living pop icon, and the show is worth every cent and every km traveled.
Every song Lady Gaga performed hit me in a unique way, but Paparazzi from her debut album The Fame stood out with a special kind of significance. It was the track that first introduced me to her artistry, and hearing it live was both nostalgic and exhilarating. I still remember the first time I heard it—I had just graduated from college, unsure of my path, and her music gave me something to hold onto.
What made the experience even more special was that Gaga didn’t just take us back to her beginnings; she also delivered powerful new songs from her latest album, The Mayhem. The mix of past and present perfectly showcased her artistic journey.
This concert wasn’t just a performance—it was an electrifying, immersive celebration of music, creativity, and the powerful connection between an artist and her fans.
The concert ran for two hours, yet I found myself craving more—I wished Lady Gaga could have kept performing well into the night. I can’t even sleep when I reached back home because it’s that good. Before attending, I assumed that the concert experience was largely shaped by the crowd: how loudly they sang along, how energetic they were, and who you were sharing the moment with. But Lady Gaga completely flipped that idea on its head. She demonstrated that a concert’s magic is driven by the performer’s presence and artistry. Even though the crowd in Singapore was a bit more reserved compared to the lively, passionate audiences I’ve seen back home in the Philippines, Gaga’s extraordinary talent, charisma, and stagecraft more than made up for it. Her ability to engage and enthrall the audience placed this concert among the very best I’ve ever experienced, proving that when a performer is on top of their game, the entire show becomes unforgettable—regardless of the crowd’s energy.
Love,
