Batangas Philippines
My friends from Lipa Status and Batangas Republic were invited again to blog about the opening of natural drinking yogurt in a mall. Thanks to them I got to experience another food exploration in the Batangas.
Koomi Philippines (update: closed)
Price: Php140-Php250
Location: SM Lipa Ground Floor
Australia is the birthplace of Koomi, a natural drinking yoghurt that is freshly created every day and is a better choice for your gut health. Since yoghurt is currently one of the most popular health foods, I recommend trying Koomi if you’d like to enjoy a drink that contains all the benefits of yoghurt without the guilt. In light of yogurt’s many health benefits, it can be used in place of any meal of the day. Mango moo (yoghurt mixed with mango) is a tasty treat that hits the spot for me. Having the natural flavour of the fresh mango bits in my drink is a plus, and I appreciate that it is not overly sugary. This is pretty pricey, and I doubt I would want to drink it every day because of the cost. To keep my digestive system in good working order, I prefer to eat fruits and vegetables.

Just Set Place
Location: Purok 7, Tangob, Lipa City
Price: Php 120-Php1,000
Since I enjoy both coffee and al fresco dining, I couldn’t wait to test a new cafe in Lipa, Batangas. But I was rather let down with the iced macchiato I had from Just Set Place Cafe. The coffee was disappointing, tasting like instant coffee with an unpleasant fragrance and a flavour that lingered even after consuming.

Love,
Maria, sometimes Niskie
